With more than 30 years of experience, SUB-IMAGES Communications has established its name in the world of photography, editorial content, and multimedia presentations. Our work is featured in North America and abroad.

Our team has earned a reputation for quality, efficiency and ability to work within strict time limits and budget targets. We have worked with major content producers including the BBC, CBC, National Geographic, Télé-Québec and large advertising agencies.

We are the most published French-Canadian underwater photographers. We have written more than 300 how-to columns on underwater photography, authored books and contributed with dozens of publications throughout the world.

Our multimedia programs are commissioned as part of permanent exhibits, film festivals, trade shows, product launches and road shows.

We are available for assignment work and we provide stock images as well.

As award winning guest speakers and trainers, we have presented before tens of thousands, covering subjects related our fields of expertise. Our lecture and workshop programs are suited to various audiences including corporate gatherings.

We also cater to school audiences and senior residences. We offer custom programs upon request.

Danielle Alary has more than 30 years of experience in the audio-visual industry, mainly in multi-image and multimedia programming. A photographer in her own right, she has an artistic approach. Danielle also manages SUB-IMAGES photo bank, act as project director and is the main editor and programmer for the company.

Over the years, her spectacular productions have delighted audiences by the thousands in Canada, the United States and Europe. Among other distinctions she has received the Silver Diver Award at the Antibes World Festival of Underwater Images (France), the Diver of the Year Award at Beneath the Sea (New York) and the Our World Underwater Award (Chicago). In 2001 she was inducted in the Women Divers Hall of Fame.

Danielle has chaired the photo jury at the Antibes World Festival of Underwater Images and participated in various juries at this festival and many others.

Her production ICE HAVEN won two Grand Prize from the Québec Ministry of Tourism.

Danielle has co-authored more than 1,000 articles on travel, sailing, boating, environmental subjects and underwater photography. She also involved the development of lectures and workshops offered by SUB-IMAGES.

With degrees in physical education and music, she is an energetic and highly motivated individual.

Michel Gilbert has more than 30 years of experience in the fields of photography, editorial and public speaking.

He has co-authored more than 1,000 articles mostly in the fields of underwater photography, travel, environment, boating and sailing.

He is also co-producer of SUB-IMAGES multimedia programs.

Michel’s work has garnered national and international recognition. He won the Silver Diver award at the Antibes World Festival of Underwater Images (France), the Diver of the Year Award at Beneath the Sea (New York), the Our World Underwater Award (Chicago) and the Canadian Lifetime Diving Achievement Award (Toronto).

He has chaired and participated in many photo competition’s juries, including the World Festival of Underwater Images still imaging jury.

He has lectured in North America and abroad and also chaired the Québec and the Canadian scuba-diving federations.

He co-produced ICE HAVEN, a multimedia production that earned two Grand Prizes from the Québec Ministry of Tourism.

Michel has a degree in Economics, and he is an accomplished presenter.
